Since 1907, we have engaged in efforts to improve lives in this community. What began with weekly Bible Study meetings by the wives of local farmers grew into a beacon of hope for thousands of people.
Our Mission
We are God’s Good News people, prepared to carry out the three-fold mission of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Church universal and our local church should be driven by:
1) The Great Commandment to Love (Matt. 22:37-40)
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
2) The Great Commitment to Serve (Matt. 25:34-36)
“Then shall the King say unto them on is right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”
3) The Great Commission to Go (Matt. 28:19-20)
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
