NYC Presbytery Seeks an Advocate for Justice Ministries

In our 92 congregations and 11 new worshiping communities and fellowships, we welcome nearly 14,000 members in worship, mission and service to our city and beyond.

We are a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Synod of the Northeast.

• Increase Congregational Vitality

• Dismantle Structural Racism

• Eradicate Systemic Poverty

The Justice Ministries Committee (JMC) identifies, recommends, advocates for and helps facilitate Justice Ministries that help PNYC to achieve the goals of being a Matthew 25 organization.

The primary justice ministries that JMC supports at present are:

• Criminal Justice Reform

• Immigration Reform

• Low Income Housing and Homeless Programs
